I am writing from Truro, Cornwall, England.I just came across your website- love it!
I am interested in your Catherine Usticke who married John Peters.
You might like to know that John Peters was in fact Captain John Peters, of Winchelsea, Sussex. They married in 1783. 
Peters was a Captain of the famous Falmouth Packet Ships. that would explain the death at Falmouth.
I am not related, but I do have portraits of the two of them.These are oil paintings by John Opie R.A.. Catherine at least was painted in 1783, for the marriage.
IT looks as though their son had no children, so the portraits were passed to the TONKINs.
Doyou fit in there somewhere?
