Recorded in a box of Cornish families on the top floor of the SoG is a reference to the London Gazette of May 12-16th 1767; this is a reference to bankruptcy proceedings which involved some land near Endellion, St Austell in Cornwall which had been owned by Ann Basset, widow, deceased.
