James was a renowned Vocalist, Basoonist and exponent of the fine arts.
His profession was an instrument tuner
He also did the llithographic work for the State Governments "Zoology of Victoria" I have one of his original pen scetches done as an old man in 1912
He and louisa (who died at 44) had many children 10 or 11 only two surviving childhood
