Another old resident of the district in the person of Mr Patrick Lennon died at his residence "Elliminyt" yesterday moring aged 82years.
The deceased was born in Co Down, Ireland and came to this district in 1846. He was very well known and respected and leaves a family of nine children all of whom are grown up.
The funeral will leave his late residence at 3pm this Friday for the Colac cemetery.

Patrick: Vagrancy - 12 mths with hard labour
Mary: Vagrancy - 6 mths with hard labour
John: Neglected child - 12 mths Industrial school
Alice:Neglected child -12 mths Industrial school
Mary: Damaging Govt. property - 3 mths imprisonment accumulative on previous sentence.
